Kevin Matthews, New Chapter: Reflecting on 18 Years at The Registry
On December 1, 2024, Kevin Matthews, who has been CEO of The Registry since 2023, will step down into a Senior Consultant position.

After 18 years with The Registry, and with much reflection, I have decided to step down from the CEO position and spend more time with my family, read more books, and travel more.
I am assuming the role of Senior Consultant and I look forward to being part of the continued success of what is the most innovative consulting organization in higher education.
I am grateful to the founders of The Registry, grateful to my partners, Amy, George, and Bryan, all of my colleagues on the Registry team, and of course our Registry Members. I am very proud of the work we have all done together in growing this business.
I am also grateful to ZRG Partners for choosing to acquire The Registry, for recognizing The Registry’s tremendous value in the world of higher education and for seeing The Registry’s potential to contribute to the larger organization, that is ZRG. I believe that we are all truly Stronger Together.
And my final thanks goes to our clients; who have chosen us to assist their pursuit of excellence through the utilization of our interim leaders, our members. You all are central to our mission and our success. Our great reputation is bolstered by your dedication to the work. You have made a difference in our lives and also our clients. Thank you for making The Registry what it is.
This has been a wonderful chapter of my life. I am grateful to you all for being part of my journey.
