This role not only showcased Fred’s expertise but also allowed him to contribute meaningfully to an institution renowned for its commitment to academic excellence.
Fred’s experience at Washington and Lee was marked by collaboration and camaraderie. Reflecting on his time there, he stated, “It was a great pleasure to work alongside a team of outstanding professionals at Washington and Lee University as I served in the role of Interim University Registrar. The staff and faculty went out of their way to welcome me to their amazing community, and I was truly impressed with their friendliness and dedication to academic excellence.”
The challenges faced by the Office of the University Registrar in recent years have been significant, but Fred believes that these challenges have ultimately strengthened the institution. “The institution as a whole, and the Office of the University Registrar in particular, faced tremendous change in recent years, but I believe they are stronger as a result,” he remarked. His positive outlook and proactive approach made a lasting impact on both the team and the students they serve.
