The Registry Expands Services to Include Associate-Level Positions
In response to increasing demand from our client institutions, The Registry is pleased to announce the expansion of our interim leadership offerings to include associate-level roles. This strategic move allows us to better serve the evolving needs of colleges and universities nationwide.
This expansion has been made possible in part due to our recent merger with ZRG Partners, which has given us access to a broader and more diverse talent pool. Unlike our traditional Registry Members—who are seasoned senior executives with extensive cabinet-level experience—this new cohort includes professionals qualified for associate-level roles, such as Registrars, Directors, Associate Deans, and other key mid-level leadership positions.
Because these candidates do not fall under our traditional membership model, the selection and vetting process for associate-level roles differs from our customary approach. While Registry Members undergo a rigorous screening process and represent the pinnacle of senior academic leadership, associate-level candidates are evaluated through a separate process aligned with the scope and responsibilities of their roles.
This initiative marks a new chapter for The Registry, one that reflects our commitment to providing flexible, high-quality leadership solutions at every level of academic administration. We invite our clients and colleagues to reach out if they know of professionals who may be a strong fit for these associate-level opportunities.

Associates Perspective:
Dr. Yasmine Hill, an experienced higher education professional and current Registry associate, described her transition into interim work as both seamless and empowering. “The process was so much easier,” she shared, noting the efficiency of The Registry’s placement approach compared to traditional job searches.
Brought in to support a student information system transition, Dr. Hill quickly made an impact by bridging institutional knowledge gaps—an example of the targeted expertise associate-level consultants bring to the table.
“Having someone with a specific skill set in an interim position is extremely important to keep the doors turning in higher ed,” she emphasized. Dr. Hill also praised the professional development and ongoing support she’s received from The Registry, calling the experience “excellent” and “transformational” for her career outlook.
Her insights underscore the importance—and untapped potential—of associate-level interim roles in today’s dynamic academic landscape.
