Welcoming Jeanine Went, PhD, as Vice President of Membership and Programs

ZRG The Registry is pleased to welcome Jeanine Went, PhD, as Vice President of Membership and Programs. In this role, Dr. Went will lead efforts to strengthen member engagement, expand programming, and support our steadfast commitment to working with experienced higher education leaders and the institutions they serve.
Dr. Went brings a strong record of leadership across higher education, with experience in program development, institutional collaboration, and community-building. Throughout her career, she has helped bring people and organizations together around shared priorities, creating initiatives that are practical, mission-aligned, and built to serve real institutional needs.
Her appointment reflects ZRG The Registry’s continued investment in the members who make this work possible. As colleges and universities face increasingly complex leadership challenges, we remain focused on connecting institutions with seasoned leaders who can step in with judgment, steadiness, and a commitment to service.
“Jeanine brings exactly the kind of experience and perspective this role requires,” said Rosa Morris, Global Market Leader for ZRG’s Education, Nonprofit, and Social Impact practice. “She understands higher education, she understands the power of strong member communities, and she shares our commitment to service. Her leadership will help us build on The Registry’s legacy while advancing its mission for the future.”
As Vice President of Membership and Programs, Dr. Went will work closely with members and associates to deepen engagement, identify new ways to support continued service to the academy, and ensure the organization remains responsive to the needs of both members and client institutions.
“I am honored to join ZRG The Registry and to support a community of leaders so deeply committed to higher education,” said Dr. Jeanine Went. “The Registry’s members bring extraordinary experience, perspective, and dedication to institutions navigating moments of transition. As a “connector,” I look forward to helping strengthen this community and connecting talented leaders with opportunities to make meaningful contributions to our field.”
For members, Dr. Went’s arrival signals a renewed focus on connection, programming, and purposeful engagement. Her work will help ensure that Registry members have strong pathways to contribute their expertise in ways that benefit institutions, leadership teams, and the broader higher education landscape.
