Sheilia Burke, PhD

Sheila passed away shortly after resigning from her role as Interim Director of Nursing at Ball State University. She had been a valued member of The Registry since February 2023.
Dr. Sheila Burke, age 66, died March 30, 2024. Most recently of Indian Head Park, Illinois; beloved daughter of Joseph and Anne Burke of Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland; devoted and loving sister to Mary (Ed) Regester, Catherine (Michael) Tanner, Michael (Laura) Burke, Patrick Burke, Barbara (Louis) Roppo, Judy (John) Mortell, and John (Maria) Burke; proud aunt and great aunt. Ray’s passing came before he had the opportunity to undertake any Registry assignments, but he was a cherished member of the Registry since 2016.
President Ray DiPasquale passed away on April 4, 2024, with his family at his side, after a brief but valiant fight against cancer. He was 74. A longtime higher education leader with roots and ties across the Northeast, Ray was regarded by peers, colleagues, and friends as a thoughtful, determined leader with a passion for helping students find success in their education and future careers, and who championed the importance of building meaningful relationships.
