Important Leadership Update & Thanks to Amy Miller

The following is a note from Rosa Morris, ZRG Global Market Leader, Education, Nonprofit, & Social Impact Practice.

Dear Friends,

At ZRG The Registry, our Associates and Members power our collective purpose: to serve our higher education clients with expertise and excellence. That’s why I’m reaching out to share an important update about transitions within our leadership team.

After more than 25 years of dedicated service, Amy Miller is leaving ZRG The Registry and starting a new path outside of talent solutions for higher education. Amy’s impact cannot be overstated. Through her years of service and her remarkable actions, she helped pilot this trusted network of leaders to accomplish great things for the colleges and universities with whom we partner. We wish Amy all the best as she pursues her new endeavors.

We are taking this opportunity to recalibrate the leadership team so we can meet your expectations for continuity, responsiveness, and depth of partnership.

We are excited to introduce Jeanine Belcastro Went, Vice President of Membership and Programs, who joined us last month and will lead our membership experience and engagement programming. Jeanine will be working in close partnership with Jon Hernandez, our primary contact for our Associates, as well as the senior consultants and the Central Team you know so well.

Jeanine joins ZRG The Registry from the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges, where she served as Executive Director, and prior to that from the Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts, where she oversaw the collaboration across 11 institutions for more than a decade.

Read Jeanine’s full announcement here.

I’m also pleased to announce that during this interim time, Larry Lewellen, a long-standing Member and Senior Consultant at ZRG The Registry, will serve as Registry Division Advisor.  He’ll advise and support the team, senior consultants, and clients, as well as strengthen human resources needs across our community. In addition to his service at ZRG The Registry, Larry spent nearly 30 years at The Ohio State University, including 14 years as Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. We are grateful for his willingness to invest more of his time and acumen in helping our business, team, and clients flourish.

ZRG The Registry has become the cornerstone of ZRG’s Education, Nonprofit & Social Impact (ENSI) practice: a more connected higher education platform that brings together interim leadership, search, and advisory support. In that time, the impact has been meaningful. Over the last 18 months, the broader practice has delivered 174 permanent placements across 112 institutions, while our Members and Associates have completed nearly 1,300 interim assignments at more than 700 colleges and universities nationwide. Forty percent of those engagements have been extended, with the majority concentrated in academic leadership, executive leadership, and finance/administration. Yet none of this happens without you. These results reflect the leadership, judgment, and commitment of this community, and we are grateful for the role you continue to play in supporting institutions when they need it most.

As the leader of our Education, Nonprofit, & Social Impact practice, I will personally be dedicating time to partner with the strong team of senior consultants and staff to ensure we bolster partnerships with you. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jon for support and guidance.

We are grateful for the role you play in providing the deep relationships and counsel that help our institutions of higher education to prosper.

Best,

Rosa Morris
